The March Regular Board of Education meeting will be held on March 18, 2024 at the JCCU #1 Administrative Office, located at 1401 Clayton Ave., Newton, IL. The meeting agenda can be found here: https://5il.co/2gp7f.
The Jasper County School District has been in contact with local and state officials about the upcoming eclipse. The Jasper County School District will not be in session on April 8, 2024, due to concerns of high traffic throughout Newton and Jasper County during school dismissal times. The District will be sending home eclipse glasses for all students to observe the eclipse. This school day will be made up on May 20, 2024.
